Book Buying Habits Tag

Hello Bookworms, and welcome to another post from The Paperback Princess! I am so very sorry that I wasn’t able to post this past Wednesday. I had a lot going on this week and just didn’t have the time. With that being said, next week will probably be the same way. Finals are this coming week and the next, so I am not going to be able to dedicate as much time to this blog as I wanted to. BUT I have a 2 week break for Christmas, so I will be back to posting on Wednesdays and Sundays again after that! Today I will be doing the Book Buying Habits Tag, so let’s get right into it!

Where do you buy your books?

I usually buy them off of Amazon, or I get them through my Romance Reveal subscription boxes.

Do you ever pre-order books and if so, do you do this in store or online?

I think I’ve only pre-ordered a handful of books in my life, but I think I did the Harry Potter books in store. And then for the others I believe it was online. I don’t pre=order very often unless it is a book I have really been looking forward to.

On average, how many books do you buy a month?

Honestly it really depends. I get two a month from my subscription box, and I maybe buy 1 more a month? So I’d say 3 books a month.

Do you use your local library?

I wish I did more. I used to constantly as a teenager, but now that I have money to buy books I just end up doing that instead. I want to make it a goal to go to the library and check out books more often though.

If so – how many books can you/do you borrow at a time?

I believe you can check out 5 physical books at a time. I’m not sure about e-books or any other kind though.

What is your opinion on library books?

I love them honestly. I am so glad that libraries exist for people. It’s literally free reading, and what is better than that??

How do you feel about charity shops/second-hand books?

I love these as well. They may be used books, but I’ve never seen anything wrong with that. Plus they are cheap!

Do you keep your read and TBR pile together/on the same bookshelf or not?

I honestly don’t even have a bookshelf at the moment. My books are all piled into boxes. But they aren’t piled separately from read or TBR.

Do you plan to read all the books you own?

I would hope so lol. That is the reason that I got them in the first place.

What do you do with books you own that you feel you’ll never read/felt you didn’t enjoy?

Still keep them in the hopes that maybe I will change my mind. Or I donate them if I’m REALLY not interested in reading it.

Have you ever donated books?

Yes, I usually donate them to the Goodwill.

Have you ever been on a book-buying ban?

Do you feel that you buy too many books?

Not really. I don’t think I have enough right now, so I am trying to buy some more to add to add to my collection again.

And that is it for this post! I hope you all enjoyed this tag as much as I did. Let me know in the comments about some of your own book buying habits! Next week I will be doing the Relationshipping Book Tag, so make sure you are here for that! Hope you all have a wonderful week!!
