Hello bookworms! Welcome to the very first post from Reader’s Cove. I hope you all are excited for future bookish posts, because I sure am!
Let’s get down to the basics ✅: My name is Ashley, I am 31 years old, and I live in Nebraska. I am not married, nor have children, but I do have a wonderful partner and a fluffy cat named Chloe! I was born and raised in Florida, and am definitely a beach babe at heart!
At the moment I am not employed due to some mental health stuff, but I am currently in the process of going back to school to get my BA in English and Creative Writing. My ultimate dream job, and my goal, is to work in book publishing. It’s been a dream of mine since I was a young teenager. I have also been throwing around the idea of becoming a writer and opening my own bookstore as well!
In my spare time I like to read, write, cuddle with my cat, watch TV shows and movies, dream about being on the beach, and taking lots of naps!
My favorite colors are pink, aqua, silver, and purple. I love bumblebees, elephants, cats, unicorns, and pandas. I love fast food, office supplies, quiet nights in, and stuffed animals. (Yes I’m also a total kid at heart!)
I think that will probably do it for this first post. It went a little longer than I planned, but that’s okay! I definitely wanted my readers to know about the lady behind the screen!!
I am so excited to start this journey, and I hope all of you are excited to take this journey with me as well!
